JANAKPURDHAM: A youth was found dead in Balganga Bazaar of Dhanusha district in the wee hours of Thursday.

The body of Anil Mandal (20) from Paudeshwor-8 was recovered at around 3:30 am today, according DSP Krishna Prasain.

Family members claimed he was strangled to death by some unidentified persons.

Police investigations, however, have not found any evidence yet that he was murdered, Prasain said.

Mandal had left home yesterday to fetch goods on the tractor owned by local Sanjaya Yadav.

The body has been handed over to the family after postmortem.

Police are looking into the case.
