HM meets victims' families

KATHMANDU: Minister for Home Affairs Bhim Rawal on Wednesday visited the family members of the victims of the high speed hit-and-run incident near Bhotahity in Kathmandu early Wednesday morning, at Baggikhana near Singha Durbar and consoled them. He assured that the government would provide the compensations and promised that the culprit would be brought to book.

Meanwhile, the police urged calm and asked everyone to help the police personnel in the investigation. In a press meet organised at the Metropolitan Police Office, Hanuman Dhoka the police urged everyone to ignore the rumours and assured everyone that the truth will be unveiled soon as investigation was still on.
