Outgoing Minister criticises Home Minister
BIRATNAGAR: Former Minister of State for Home Affairs Mohammad Rizwan Ansari said that the resignation of Home minister is only the way out to settle peace and stability in the country.
Addressing the national Muslims conference in Biratnagar on Saturday, he said Home Ministry is not trying to investigate the reason behind the increasing violence in the country. Although the ministry is familiar with the problem, it is not serious about taking action against the culprits, he said, blaming the home minister for the rise in crime and violence in the country.
Ansari had resigned citing the lack of working environment and appropriate responsibility assigned to him in the ministry. He was the only UML minister in the Cabinet elected from direct voting in the CA elections. He was elected from Sarlahi -2.
