LAHAN: Lahan remained shut on Saturday morning following the strike called by students over the death of their colleague Krishna Dev Gupta, 18. According to police deceased Gupta, a student of Royal Softech Higher Secondary School, was killed on the spot after he was hit by a truck (Sa 1 Kha 207). Colleagues of Yadav obstructed vehicular movement by burning tyres on the road demanding the proper compensation of the deceased. The police have detained the driver for the further investigation.
