The world mourns the demise of pop icon Michael Jackson regarded widely as being the greatest entertainer ever. The cause of his death has yet to be confirmed, but it is  believed that he died from cardiac arrest. Jackson was the most famous musician in modern times, and he had a following throughout the world. His albums were the highest selling ever. He was also popular for his dancing steps which has been mimicked even in Kollywood films. He rose to fame through hard work and was also regarded as being a very good businessman and also adept in promotional activities in selling his music.

His passing away Thursday shocked everyone who was very much looking forward to his live performances slated to be held in London soon. These were to have staged his comeback and tickets to his concerts had already been sold out. What a tragedy for music lovers who would have loved to hear and see him sing live. He was working hard for these in the rehearsals, but his latest dream did not materialize. Still the world will remember him as the fine musician he was. Let us pray for his departed soul.
