Celebrating our diversity
Money cannot buy any life. Life is precious. A moment’s enjoyment of one’s life would be worth billions of dollars. Thus, all living things have naturally gifted power to survive. Survivors can change their family, community, nation and the entire world. Your identity would stay alive until you are alive and you feel it. So, let us live our lives with unity.
When you feel there is discrimination in your life, then you should stand up with your logic and explain why you feel you are discriminated. In my personal life, I did that many times. You do not need to bear injustice. At the same point, you cannot impose injustice on others. Freedom is a wonderful word or concept. That means you can do any action without harming other’s rights. All creative concepts are created to make all individuals equal. Any concept, which leads to violence, disintegration and division among humans, is pollution. We Nepalese should think that all Nepalese who live in Nepal are our close friends or relatives. If you start to think and behave each person with that feeling, would you be able to kill those police officers in Tikapur mercilessly? Definitely, not!
We are humans and we have an awesome character, which is guided by our unbiased wisdom. That is the single character, which makes us different from animals. Our judgments should be collective and equally distributed. When Madhesi people of Nepal suffer from flooding, Pahadi people must be ready to help them. In the same way, when Pahadi people suffer from landslides, Taraibasis or Madhesis must be ready to help them. This should be our common spirit.
The problem is not in politics, it is actually in people. A politically powerful and visionary person can change the nation in a speedy movement.
We do not want any form of violence. Initially, the Maoists ignited fire among us and our peaceful land became bloody, and that flame went to different groups. Leaders will not lose anything in any violent demonstration. But, we will lose everything. Faith, love, respect and goodwill would be destroyed. So, please, keep all these splendid characters with us and leave the violence. Violence is never good for any cause.
We need to celebrate our diversity with complete faith and honesty by uniting all Nepalese. Our names are there and it will be there forever. Our cultures, customs, rituals, festivals etc are there, and we should keep them for years after years.
