The ever bustling valley remained particularly quiet amid prohibitory orders in place today as only essential services including drinking water supply and pharmacies among others were allowed to remain operational.
Similarly, the roads wore a deserted look as only permitted vehicles plied while grocery shops which entertained fewer customers than usual, opened in the govt scheduled 5-7 PM slot in the evening.
