KATHMANDU, JULY 6

Nepal is currently experiencing significant rainfall due to the influence of monsoon winds. Today, most areas in Bagmati, Gandaki, and Lumbini provinces are receiving light to moderate rain, with some regions in other parts of the country also experiencing rainfall. According to the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology, this pattern of light to moderate rain will continue in many areas across all provinces this afternoon, with the possibility of heavy rain in certain locations within Bagmati, Gandaki, and Lumbini provinces.

The continuous monsoon rains have significantly affected various parts of Nepal, causing floods, landslides, and disruptions in daily life. These impacts highlight the urgent need for timely infrastructure development and effective disaster management strategies to mitigate such occurrences in the future.
