KATHMANDU, MAY 02

As the number of COVID-19 patients have sky-rocketed in recent days, security personnel deployed in the streets of Kathmandu valley have intensified security check to ensure restriction on the movement of people during the prohibitory period.

The government made the move to impose restrictions in a bid to curb the spread of the second wave of the coronavirus infection in Kathmandu valley and other major cities in the country.

As of now, Nepal has recorded a total of 336,030 cases and and registered 3,325 deaths.
