Amidst the vibrant festivities, revellers carry small chariots called "khats" around the town, joyously throwing and smearing vermillion powder on one another.

Sindoor Jatra, observed on Baisakh 2nd, the second day of the Nepali New Year, is a part of the Biska Jatra.

This lively festival heralds the arrival of spring and draws participation from thousands of enthusiastic revellers.
