KATHMANDU: St Xavier’s School defeated Gems School in the Coca-Cola Cup Inter-school Football Tournament here at the Sano Gaucharan grounds on Friday.

Ankit Bokora and Shirshak Shrestha scored in the first two minutes to put St Xavier’s ahead before Bijay Karki pulled one back in the 41st minute for Gems.

In another match, Gajurmukhi thrashed Ananta 7-0. Rajesh Thapa scored a brace, while Sandesh Khanal, Rupesh Tamang, Sandip Pokhrel, Shailesh Khanal and Bhim Gurung netted one each.

Also, Lalitpur Academy beat Adarsha 3-1 riding on a brace from Sandesh KC and one from Sanjaya Thapa Magar.

Likewise, Bhaichung Bhote scored a hat-trick as Buddha Academy outplayed Chhahari Siksha Sadan 6-0.

Janak Shahi struck two and Amrit Rokaya netted one for the winners.
