‘Blair, Coe crossed line’

Paris, July 11:

Paris mayor Bertrand Delanoe accused British PM Tony Blair and the head of London’s Olympic bid of breaking IOC rules by criticising rivals to host the 2012 Games. Delanoe said Blair and London bid leader Sebastian Coe had breached a “formal ban on criticising others.”

“They crossed the yellow line with respect to the IOC rules,” Delanoe told France-Info radio on Monday after a meeting of the Paris city council.
