AICRI beat KCTC

KATHMANDU: All India Cricket Research Institute (AICRI-India) defeated Kathmandu Cricket Training Centre (KCTC) in the friendly Twenty20 matches on Wednesday.

In the first match, KCTC were bowled out for 84 runs in 17 overs and AICRI reached 88-2 in 13.2 overs to register an eight-wicket win. Ujjwal Thapa top scored for KCTC with 21 runs. Sanjay Khan took 4-12 for AICRI. In reply, man of the match Jasbindar Singh scored an unbeaten 34 off 23 balls including two fours and three sixes and Peroloy Dey hit five fours in his unbeaten 32.

In the other match, KCTC scored 150-7 and AICRI India surpassed the total losing two wickets in 15.5 overs. Sandeep Yadav scored 51-ball 70 hitting five fours and four sixes for KCTC and Pawan Shrestha scored run-a-ball 38 including five boundaries.

In reply, Sarnendu Pal scored 54 off 50 balls, while man of the match Peroloy Dey remained unbeaten on 37-ball 52 that included six fours and two sixes. Jasbinder Singh scored not out 22 off just 10 balls.
