KATHMANDU, OCTOBER 29

The All Nepal Football Association (ANFA) has resumed ticket sales for the SAFF Women's Championship 2024 final match between Nepal and Bangladesh, set to kick off at 6:30 pm on Wednesday at Dasharath Stadium, Tripureshwor.

Ticket sales were initially halted on Monday following an investigation into overcrowding during the semifinal between Nepal and India, held on Sunday. According to ANFA, the number of tickets sold for the semifinal exceeded the stadium's seating capacity, leading to overcrowding that posed safety risks for both fans and players.

ANFA's ticketing partner, Mount Everest Sports and Events Pvt. Ltd., reportedly breached its agreement with ANFA by overselling tickets for the semifinal match. Following which the association suspended all ticket sales for the final, advising fans not to purchase tickets from any source, until further notice.

Each individual will be permitted to buy a maximum of two VIP tickets and five general tickets. ANFA also clarified that refunds would be issued for previously purchased VIP tickets bought online, while general tickets will remain valid.
