BHAIRAHAWA: Anirudh HS School of Kanchanpur advanced to the semi-finals of the Expert School Cricket League here at the Siddhartha Stadium on Monday.

Anirudh defeated Satyabati School by 63 runs and made it to the last four. Opting to bat first, Anirudh reached 130-8 in allotted 20 overs riding on Sajan Gautam’s 30 runs.

In reply, Satyabati were bowled out for 67 runs with three balls to spare. Bipul Wagle was the top scorer for Satyabati with 17 runs. Anirudh’s Paras KC bagged three wickets.

Meanwhile, New Horizon of Rupandehi beat Siddhartha Sishu Sadan of Kailali by 58 runs.
