BHAIRAHAWA: Apex Cricket Club and New Horizon recorded wins in the Shashikant-Sakuntala Barma T20 League Cricket Tournament here at Siddhartha Stadium on Saturday.

In Group C match, Apex beat Devdaha Cricket Club by four wickets, while New Horizon outplayed Shivashakti Cricket Club by 33 runs. Opting to bat first, Devedaha were bowled out for 91 runs in 19.4 overs before Apex raced to victory in 13.5 overs losing six wickets.

Deepak Bhandari scored 22 runs for Devdaha, while Arjun Basyal picked up four wickets for Apex. 0In reply, Mahendra Subedi top scored for Apex with 25 runs. In another match, Horizon scored 122-9 before they packed Shivashakti for 89 runs in 18 overs.

Nurdhoj Sen contributed 37 runs to help Horizon post a fighting total. Bishnu Katariya picked up three wickets for Shivashakti. In reply, Nikesh Jugjaili scored 18 runs for Shivashakti. Kushal Malla, Bishal Sunar and Ganesh Gaudel claimed two wickets each for Horizon.
