Tribhuvan Army Club won team championship in athletics with 19 gold and 13 each silver and bronze medals here at the Pokhara Stadium today.

Nepal APF Club finished second with 10 each gold, silver and bronze medals, while Nepal Police Club came third with two gold, seven silver and six bronze medals.

Bagmati won two gold, one silver and four bronze medals, while Gandaki bagged one each gold and silver and two bronze.

Lumbini won two gold, four silver and one bronze, while Karnali bagged one each gold, silver and bronze medals. Province-I, Madhesh, Sudurpashchim and NRNA returned empty-handed.

On Thursday, Shivaraj Parki of APF and Lumbini's Nisha Chaudhary won 200m gold medals. Parki finished first in 21.19 seconds, finishing ahead of his teammate Aashish Chaudhary (22.05) and TAC's Yuvaraj BK (22.50). In women's section, Chaudhary won in 25.24 seconds, while APF's Ramita Kumari Tharu came second in 25.95 seconds and NPC's Laxmi Saud was third in 27.52.

Gopi Chandra Parki of APF won 5,000m gold medal with the timing of 14 minutes and 29.67 seconds.

The 13th South Asian Games gold medallist, Parki beat Karnali's Durga Bahadur Budha (14:29.93) in a closely-contested race.

TAC's Mukesh Pal came third in 14:36.60. Parki had also won 10,000m gold earlier this week, while Budha won 3,000m steeplechase event.

In triple jump, TAC athlete Dilli Khatri won men's section gold with the distance of 13.95 metres, while NPC's Chandra Dev Joshi came second in 13.55m and Bagmati's Sudip Mahato was third in 13.44m.

In women's section, APF's Shila Chaudhary won gold with 11.01m, while NOC's Sima Chaud-hary (10.76) and APF's Ranjita Rai (9.91) came second and third respectively.

TAC won 4X400m relay gold medals. In women's section, TAC team of Olympian Saraswati Bhattarai, Jayarani Tharu, Nirmala Tharu and Kalesi Chaudhary finished the race in second position with the timing of four minutes and 2.78 seconds but they won gold after first-place finishers APF were disqualified for running on wrong lane. Lumbini came second in 4:14.80 and Bagmati cane third in 4:22.79. In men's section, TAC athletes Som Bahadur Kumal, Ram Prasad Tharu, Jeevan Chaudhary and Prakash Danuwar won gold in 3:18.36. APF came second in 3:25.82, while NPC was third in 3:29.35.

Football

Goalkeeper Raju Nagarkoti stopped two penalties and netted one as Nepal APF Club defeated Tribhuvan Army Club in sudden death to win gold medal in football.

The match was decided in tiebreaker after both teams failed to score in regulation and extra time.

Both teams netted four goals each in tie-breaker and APF goalkeeper Raju Nagarkoti stopped Suman Aryal's kick in the second kick of sudden death after Biswas Udas had put APF ahead. Gandaki finished third with 1-0 victory over Sudurpashchim.

In women's football, APF beat Nepal Police Club 2-1 to win gold in Waling. Star striker Sabitra Bhandari scored both the goals for APF to take her tournament tally to 14 goals. TAC recorded a 7-0 victory over Province-I rising on hattrick from Amisa Karki in third place playoff.

Basketball

Nepal APF Club and Gandaki won basketball titles. APF edged past Gandaki 81-79 in men's section final. TAC beat Bagmati 78-60 to finish third. Gandaki won 3X3 basketball gold medal with a 21-16 victory over APF. Bagmati beat TAC 19-15 in third place playoff match. In women's section, TAC, Bagmati and Gandaki won top three positions in basketball, while APF, TAC and Gandaki won gold, silver and bronze in 3X3 category.

Volleyball

Nepal APF Club won men's volley gold medal. APF defeated Tribhuvan Army Club in straight sets of 25-21, 27-25, 26-24 in final. Nepal Police Club beat Gandaki 26-24, 25-14, 25-18 to bag bronze medal.

Judo

Tribhuvan Army Club won team championship in judo with ninegold, six silver and three bronze medals. Nepal Police Club finished second with six gold, three bronze and eight bronze, while Bagmati came third with two silver and seven bronze medals.

Lumbini won one silver and three bronze, while Madhesh bagged one silver and two bronze.

APF claimed one each silver and bronze, whereas Province-I and Sudurpashchim bagged three and two bronze medals reapectively.

Karnali and NRNA won one each bronze, while Gandaki became the lone team to return empty-handed.

On Thursday, TAC won mixed team event gold medal beating APF in final. Bagmati and Province-I came joint third.

Tennis

TAC won team championship in tennis with 10 medals including four golds. Gandaki came second with three gold and two bronze, while Gandaki finished third with four silver and a bronze.

On Thursday, Pradeep Khadka of Gandaki and Abhilasha Bista of TAC won singles gold medals.

Khadka defeated NRNA's Aarav Samrat Hada 7-6, 6-3 in men's singles final, while Bista beat Ira Rawat 6-2, 6-4 in all-TAC women's singles final.

Gandaki duo Pradeep Khadka and Anil Shahi won men's doubles gold, while TAC's Bista and Rawat bagged gold in women's section.

TAC's Pranav Khanal and Abhilasha Bista won mixed doubles gold, whereas Gandaki and TAC bagged gold medals in team events.

Kabaddi

Tribhuvan Army Club won two gold medals in kabaddi. TAC defeated Lumbini 41-20 in men's final. Sudurpashchim and Nepal Police Club came third. In women's section, TAC beat 30-23 in women's final, while Lumbini and APF finished joint third. Mirap Thapa Magar and Anuja Kuling Rai were declared the best players.
