KATHMANDU: A three-member athletics team on Wednesday left for Brunei to take part in the Brunei Open International Athletics Championship slated for March 17-18.

Sprinter Yam Sajan Sunar will compete in 100m and 200m races, while Som Bahadur Kumal will take part in 400m and 800m races.

Nepal Athletics Association member Janak Rawal is the team official. NAA President Rajiv Bikram Shah bade farewell to the team at a programme on Wednesday.
