Bal Shreejanalaya, Everest thru to final

Lalitpur, November 19

Bal Shreejanalaya School of Kathmandu and Everest Secondary Academy of Sarlahi advanced to the final of the Coca-Cola Inter-school Boys Football Tournament here at the ANFA Complex grounds today.

In the semi-final match, Bal Shreejanalaya beat Gajurmukhi English School of Kathmandu 1-0. The final match is slated for November 24.

Nimal Mokatan scored the match winning goal of the match for Bal Shreejanalaya.

Everest beat Mahendra Memorial School of Sunsari 4-2. Madan Shyangtang scored a hat-trick and Ritik Khadka added a goal for Everest. Nikesh Tamang and Bharat Chaudhary netted one goal each for Mahendra Memorial.

Meanwhile, girls’ section tournament kicked off today. Shree Shankar Saraswoti of Kailali and Bhumre School of Syanja recorded wins.

Shree Shankar thrashed Bright Future 7-0 riding on two goals each from Goma Thapa, Renu Rawal and Nirmala Thapa. Silu Singh added one goal for winners.

Bhumre School defeated Adarsha School of Sunsari 4-1. Saraswoti Hamal, Sunita Kumal and Daumauti Regmi scored one goal each for Bhumre, while Salina Limbu netted the consolation goal for Adarsha.

However, Nepalaya and Shree Seti Sarda played a 1-1 draw.
