Kathmandu, June 4:

Nepal Basketball Association is organising the first Xavier International Inter-school National Basketball Tournament 2008 from June 24 in Kathmandu. The selection tournaments will be held in Kavrepalanchowk, Kaski, Chitwan, Rupandehi, Sunsari, Morang and four places of Kathmandu Valley, said the organisers at a press meet on Wednesday.

The winners each from six districts and top two from the four spots of Kathmandu will qualify for the main tournament. Xavier International College is the title sponsor of the tournament, while Dabur Nepal the sponsor. Rumpum Noodles, Shubhechha Department Store, Pasad Investment Company, Dharam Real Estate and Nepal Cooperative Society are the co-sponsors.
