LALITPUR: The All Nepal Football Association on Tuesday appointed Gaurav Basnet as the head coach of national futsal team. ANFA General Secretary Indraman Tuladhar handed over the appointment letter to Basnet.

"Basnet has previously worked as the assistant coach of the national futsal team. He has also completed AFC/ANFA 'A' License Course," said ANFA on its website. Basnet will take charge of the team in the 2022 AFC Futsal Asian Cup Qualifier in October.
