POKHARA: Gopi Bahadur Bhattarai won men’s singles title of the Paradiso Cup Monthly Tennis Tournament on Saturday.

In the final match, Bhattarai defeated Dharam Singh Lamichhane 6-3, 2-6, 10-5. Similarly, Laxman Tamang won the novice category title beating Bikash Bhattarai 6-2, 7-5.

Top two players in both sections got Rs 5,000 and Rs 2,500 respectively. Rajan Bijukchhe and Bishnu Baniya were named emerging players in open and novice categories respectively.
