Bimal Gharti Magar not to play in remaining matches of 'A' Division Football League
KATHMANDU: Nepali youth striker Bimal Gharti Magar will not be seen in the remaining matches of ongoing home football event Martyr's Memorial 'A' Division League as he is all set to go to Belgium for a trial.
The 20-year-old player -- who has already played professional matches in India, Belgium and the Netherlands -- made his debut in the league from Chyasal Youth Club from this season and is quitting it after two matches.
According to main coach Rajukaji Shakya, Chyasal, the club where he was bound, has agreed to allow him to go to Belgium. Prior to this, Bimal had played from the Belgium-based RSC Anderlecht and gave his trial at the Spain-based Marbella United.
Although, Bimal had played goalless in two 'A' division league matches so far, it is obvious that Chyasal will go through some adversity in his absence. The team is in the ninth position of the league with one point. It played a goalless draw with the Machhindra while it faced 0-1 defeat in the second match with the Tribhuvan Army.
The then coach Krishna Thapa had decided to include him in the national team at the age of 14.
