KATHMANDU: Thapathali Janakalyan Pariwar here on Monday felicitated national football team skipper Biraj Maharjan and taekwondo player Melisha Khadgi.

Pariwar honoured Maharjan and Khadgi with Rs 10,000 each for their contribution in Nepali sports during its 29th anniversary.

Kathmandu Metropolitan City Mayor Bidya Sundar Shakya and Deputy Mayor Hariprabha Khadgi Shrestha handed over the letter of appreciation and cash to the players.
