PANCHTHAR: Birta United of Jhapa came from two goals down to beat Bijay Youth Club of Hetauda 4-2 and advanced to the semi-finals of the second Wai Wai Falgunanda Gold Cup Football Tournament here on Wednesday.

Puspa Maden completed a hat-trick and Nawayug Shrestha scored a goal for Birta United, while Mastafa and Ibrahim netted a goal each for Bijay Youth.

Mastafa put Bijay Youth ahead in the 12th minute and Ibrahim doubled the tally two minutes later.

However, Birta United’s Maden cut the deficit in the 21st minute and he levelled the scores in 60th minute.

Maden completed his hat-trick in the 76th minute and Shrestha made it 4-2 in the 80th minute.
