Bista vows to help Sahara Academy

Kathmandu, August 8

Member Secretary of National Sports Council (NOC) Keshab Kumar Bista today vowed to help Sahara Academy in a long-term plan.

Bista, who was attending the Nepal Taekwondo Association general assembly, visited the Sahara Club Academy in Dobilla, Pokhara. Bista was impressed with the works of the Academy during his visit at the Academy. Sahara Club President Bir Bhadra Acharya briefed about the club and their plan to run the Academy. “With the help from our donors we have established this foundation and now we need help from NOC to run this Academy smoothly.”

Bista promised to help the Academy as much as he can from his side. “I have heard about the Academy from many and I am happy to see such an initiation from private sector. We have to take this concept for longer period and will be always there in need.” Currently, Academy has 26 students from 15 districts and has planned to add four more students.
