Blue Sky Cup volleyball to begin on Saturday
Kathmandu, April 15:
Dhorpatan Sports Training Club (DSTC) is organising the Blue Sky Cup Women’s Volleyball League here from April 19 to May 4.
In all 11 teams will take part in the event to be played under the double leg system, said the DSTC president Manbir Chhantyal at a press meet here today. This is the first tournament for the women in two-leg format.
The top four teams will get Rs 40,000, Rs 30,000, Rs 20,000 and Rs 10,000 respectively while Rs 8,000 and
Rs 1,500 has been set aside for the best player and the exciting spectators respectively. The total estimated budget of the event is above Rs 2 million, said the organisers.
The participating teams are Nepal Police Club, Tribhuvan Army Club, Bhaktapur Volleyball Training Centre, Gyanu Baba HS School (Pokhara), Fishtail Academy (Pokhara), Top HS School (Pokhara), Bright Future Secondary School (Naikap), New Diamond Academy (Old Baneshwor), Eastern Division Second Division, Chhyantal Sports Team and Rekha Sports Club.
