KATHMANDU: Ministry of Youth and Sports on Tuesday honoured bodybuilders Maheshwor Maharjan and Nanita Maharjan for winning medals in international competitions.

Minister for Youth and Sports Rajendra Kumar KC handed over Rs 100,000 to Maheshwor Maharjan, who had won gold medal in men’s 75kg weight category event of the 50th Asian Bodybuilding and Physiques Sports Championship in Bhutan last year, while Nanita Maharjan got Rs 35,000 for winning bronze medal in the eighth WBPF World Bodybuilding and Sports Physiques Championship held in Thailand last year.
