CHITWAN: Chitwan District Cricket Association donated Rs 255,555 to Dhurmus Suntali Foundation to construct Gautam Buddha International Cricket Stadium in Bharatpur.

CAC Treasurer Bharat Kunwar handed over the cheque to Foundation President Sitaram Kattel on Sunday.

The Foundation began the preparation of Detail Project Report (DPR) on Sunday and the estimated budget of the stadium, which will be completed in two years, is three billion rupees. Bharat Metropolitan City has managed the 20-bigha land to construct the stadium in Rampur.

CAC President Kailash Pradhan and Member Sudip Piya among others were present on the occasion. CAC had earlier donated Rs 50,000 to Dream Fapla project.
