KATHMANDU: Pulsar Cricket Excellence Centre won the title of the eighth Nepal-Pakistan Friendship T20 Cricket Tournament here at the Pakistan Embassy grounds on Saturday.

CEC defeated Embassy of Pakistan by six wickets in the final match.

Batting first, the hosts were bowled out for 114 runs in 17.4 overs before the CEC raced to 118-4 in 15.1 overs. Sachin top scored for CEC with 50 off 31 balls, while Sandip contributed 37.

Earlier, Nabin scored 32 runs and Aayush made 24 for Embassy of Pakistan.

Avinash took 5-15 for CEC, while Mahajan claimed 2-32. A total of 12 teams took part in the tournament.

Former Foreign Minister Ramesh Nath Pandey, Chinese Ambassador Chen Song and Joint Secretary at Ministry of Foreign Affairs Ram Prasad Subedi among others handed over the prizes to the winners.
