CoC semi-finals on Saturday
Saroj Sewa will fight against Yadav Thapa, while Manish Dangol will take on Surendra Karki in the last four matches of the 61kg weight category, informed the organisers at a press meet on Thursday.
The first-ever professional boxing championship is organised by Max Boxing Promotion and Dancing Yak. The final is slated for January 30 next year along with professional debut fight of Manohar Basnet with Indian boxer Ajay Deep.
The winner of the Champ of Champions will receive Rs 200,000 and belt along with a chance to go to Belgium.
“The winner will go to Belgium and he will play at least three matches in three months. He can stay longer and continue playing if he goes on winning matches,” said Basnet.“We are also sending eight boxers to India to participate in the Super League Boxing and we will select the players later as we need boxers for eight weight categories,” he added.
