BUTWAL: Valley Chyasal Youth Club defeated Signature Manang Marshyangdi Club 1-0 in the quarter-final match of the 21st Tilottama Gold Cup here at the ANFA Technical Centre grounds on Thursday.

Armand Beadoum scored the solitary goal of the match in the third minute of the second half to send the Pulsar Martyrs Memorial A Division League champions packing. MMC came close to levelling the scores in the dying moments of the match but Prakash Budhathoki struck against the cross bar in a free kick.

On Friday, hosts Laali Rupandehi will face Daufins FC of Cameroon in the semi-final match.
