KATHMANDU: Cupon Sports Centre reached an agreement with NMB Bank for the sponsorship of youth football tournament slated for August 9-11.
Cupon Sports Centre's Chief Executive Officer Damodar Bhattarai and NMB Bank's deputy CEO Sudesh Upadhyaya signed the memorandum of understanding amidst a programme on Wednesday.
As per the deal, NMB Bank will be the title sponsor of the three-day tournament, which will be played under leaguecum-knockout format.
According to Bhattarai, who is also the deputy general secretary at the All Nepal Football Association, a total of 16 teams will take part in the NMB-Cupon Inter-school U-14 Football Tournament. T
op three teams along with the player of the tournament, best goalkeeper and highest scorer will get trophies and awards.
