KATHMANDU: Prince Dahal and Rashila Maharjan won the titles of the second Prime Minister Cup Open Ranking Badminton Tournament here at the National Sports Council covered hall on Thursday.
Junior world No 1 shuttler Dahal of Revive Leisure Park defeated Tribhuvan Army Club's Nabin Shrestha 21-17, 21-10 in the men's singles final.
Maharjan beat her TAC teammate Anumaya Rai 21-12, 21-18 in women's singles final.
Dahal made it a double when he teamed up with TAC's Nabin Shrestha to win the men's doubled title with a 18-21, 21-9, 21-18 victory over TAC duo Pabin Lingtheb and Suroj Maharjan.
TAC shuttlers Santosh Paneru and Prarthana Deuba won the U-19 section titles, while Silk Group's Kabir KC and TAC's Roj Padey bagged the U-19 category gold medals.
