Prince Dahal and Rashila Maharjan won the titles of the 16th Krishnamohan Memorial Open Badminton Tournament here today.

Nepal APF club shuttler Dahal defeated Tribhuvan Army Club's Rukesh Maharjan 21-11, 21-11 in the men's singles final.

TAC's Maharjan won the women's singles title with a 21- 19, 15-21, 21-17 victory over APF's Jessica Rai.

Dahal teamed up with Bijit Thapa to win the men's doubles title with a 21-18, 21-13 victory over Nepal Police Club duo Jeevan Acharya and Bishnu Katuwal, while Maharjan and her TAC teammate Anumaya Rai beat APF's Jessica Gurung and Sunaina Mukhiya 21-16, 21-12 in the women's doubles final. Dahal claimed his third title of the tournament when he teamed up with Jessica Gurung to beat fellow AFP duo Bijit Thapa Magar and Shova Gauchan 23-21, 22-20 in the mixed doubles final.

Likewise, Chhitij Khanal won the U-19 boys' singles title with a 13-21, 21-17, 21-18 victory over his APF teammate Roshan Saud, while TAC shuttler Rijan Magar defeated his teammate Sudesh Rajkoti 24-22, 21-18 in the U-12 boys' singles final.

Chitwan's Buddhi Chaudhary and Dhading's Bishnu Lal Shrestha won the above-45 veteran doubles title, while APF's Sanjay Kapali and Anil Thamsung bagged the above-45 section trophy. Shovakhar Bhandari and Jari Krishna Shrsetha of Nepal Telecom won the inter-government service section title with a 22-20, 21-12 victory over APF's Dhirendra Chand and Sudhir Subedi.

The tournament, organised by Nepal APF in memory of its former AIG Krishna Mohan Shrestha, featured a total of 10 events and it carried a cash purse of Rs 865,000.
