Don Bosco win

Kathmandu, June 24:

Kathmandu Don Bosco College hammered Lab School by 10 wickets and Pulchowk Engineering College defeated Shanker Dev Campus by five wickets in the third CCRC Twenty20 Inter-college Cricket Tournament.

Lab School were bundled out for just 70 runs in 17.2 overs. In reply, Don Bosco overcame the total without losing a wicket in 11.2 overs. Prem Upreti top-scored for Lab with 16. Raj Kumar Pradhan, Prithu Baskota and Sunam Gautam took wickets each for Don Bosco. Man of the match Yashwant Subedi scored 43 off 34 and Subash Khakurel made 24.

In the other match, Shanker Dev scored 93-6. Neeraj Bhattarai and Krishna Karki each contributed 20 runs. In reply, Pulchowk overcame the total losing five wickets with three balls to spare. Man of the match Jayesh Giri scored a quickfire 31 off 27 balls while Utsav Dhungana contributed 17. Krishna KC and Suraj Basnet took two wickets each for Shanker Dev.
