DPL gets approval
KATHMANDU: The International Cricket Council has approved the Ruslan Dhangadhi Premier League to be organised by Dhangadhi Cricket Academy from March 31 to April 14.
As per the press release issued by DCA President Subash Bahadur Shahi, ICC’s Senior Operation Manager Clive Hitchcock sent official letter sanctioning the event.
“The participating teams can now bring in top international cricketers for the event,” said Shahi.
A total of six teams — Mahendranagar United, Kathmandu Goldens, CYC Attariya, Team Chauraha Dhangadhi, Rupandehi Challengers and Biratnagar Kings — will take part in the event.
Top two teams will earn Rs 2.5 million and one million rupees respectively.
