England closed their first innings at tea on the third day in the commanding position of 569-6 declared following a Test-best 160 from opener Alastair Cook. West Indies need 370 to avoid the follow-on. Collingwood finished on 60 not out and Stuart Broad was unbeaten on 28. The second day was washed out.
