England win toss and field against Australia
LONDON: England captain Andrew Strauss won the toss and elected to field against Australia in the seventh and final one-day international (ODI) at Riverside here on Sunday.
Paul Collingwood and Graham Onions both returned for England on their home ground. Former one-day captain Collingwood has been rested for the series, while Onions is making his one-day international debut after being called up late to the squad as cover for Andrew Flintoff.
Dimitri Mascarenhas and Ryan Sidebottom were the men to make way. Australia continued to rotate their squad, bringing in Ben Hilfenhaus and Mitchell Johnson for Callum Ferguson and Peter Siddle.
If Australia win this match, England will become the first team in history to lose a one-day international series 7-0.
