FC Chitwan on Wednesday signed national football team striker Bharat Khawas as marquee player and Meghraj KC as coach for the upcoming Nepal Super League. Sachin Dhakal, Managing Director of Game On Pvt Ltd, which took over the responsibility of the franchise team owned by IME Group, exchanged the memorandum of understanding with Khawas and KC.

Out of the seven franchise teams, Dhangadhi FC have already announced national team midfielder Bishal Rai as marquee player, while Lalitpur FC have signed Anjan Bista.

The inaugural edition of the NSL, organised by the Nepal Sports Event and Management Pvt Ltd, is beginning at the Dasharath Stadium on April 24.
