Sumina Khadka and Sushma Tamang are all set to participate in the AIBA Youth World Boxing Championship slated for April 11-23 in Poland. The RDS Club boxer Khadka beat Dechen Sherpa of Boxmandu in the women's 60kg final of the qualifying tournament. Naxal's Tamang had defeated Susmita Rai of Jhapa in the 48kg weight category final on Tuesday. The Nepal Boxing Association organised the selection tournament for the two weight categories after receiving invitation from the organisers.
NBA President Ram Awale and senior vice-president Arjun Bahadur KC attended the qualifying tournament.
