‘FIFA 2016’ begins

KATHMANDU: The video game competition named FIFA 2016 began here on Wednesday. Around 300 participants are taking part in the four-day event organised jointly by Star Mall, NGamers and Tech Hundred One Pvt Ltd. According to the organisers, a participant gets the opportunity to play three matches in the first phase with winners advancing to next level. The top two players will receive Rs 40,000 and Rs 20,000 respectively. The tournament is organised to promote e-gaming in Nepal and produce the players who can represent the country in international arena, said the organisers. Nepal national football team member Bikram Lama, President of Nepal Sports Journalists Forum Mahesh Acharya and Acting President of Ruslan Three Star Club Arun Man Joshi inaugurated the tournament.
