ABUJA: Nigerian champions Enyimba said on Monday they were robbed at gunpoint on their way to a pre-season tournament in the northern town of Kaduna. Players and officials were robbed of valuables such as phones and cash at Okene, north-central Nigeria, on Monday but no-one was hurt during the incident, Enyimba announced on Twitter. Last year, Kano Pillars were attacked by robbers on their way to a league game in the eastern part of Nigeria.
