Players off to Hungary

LALITPUR: Four Nepali judo players on Thursday left for Hungary to take part in the International Judo Federation’s special training slated for April 21-29.

According to Nepal Judo Association President Deepak Harsha Bajracharya, the seventh National Games gold medallists Phupu Lhamu Khatri, Manita Shrestha Pradhan, Kiran Gadel and Indra Bahadur Shrestha were given the opportunity to participate in the training with the support of Hungary Judo Association and IJF.

Olympian Khatri is also the gold medallist of the 12th SA Games. National Sports Council Member Secretary Keshab Kumar Bista bade farewell to the players.
