LALITPUR: Modern Indian School, Vidhya Sanskar School and St. Xavier's Jawalakhel registered victories in the 25th Fr Moran Memorial Primary School Invitational Football Tournament here at the SXG grounds on Tuesday.
IS outplayed Godawari Residential School 5-0 riding on two goals each from Prapanna Adhikari and Aaroosh Bilas Pant. James Raut also netted a goal for MIS. John Raut of MIS was named the player-of-thematch.
In another match, Vidhya Sanskar outplayed Adarsha Vidya Mandir HS School 4-0 on goals from Prakhar KC, Roben Shrestha, playerof-the-match Subash Tamang and Shreeshant Yogi.
Likewise, player-ofthe-match Austin Khanal scored four goals alone as SXJ thrashed Dolphin English Secondary School 6-1. Sangit Tamang and Pradyot Pokhrel added one each goal for SXJ, while Utsav Silwal scored the consolation goal for Dolphin.
A total of 16 teams are taking part in the tournament organised by St Xavier's Godavari.
