Yamaha Motors India Limited will award Yamaha G5 motorcycles to six best individuals of the ongoing Martyrs Memorial San Miguel ‘A’ Division League Football. In addition, the company has also announced a G5 to one spectator who comes up with the correct names of those winners.

The company will present a bike each to the best goalkeeper, defender, midfielder, forward along with highest goal scorer and a coach. Players who assume the forward position can contest for two categories — best forward and highest goal scorer — as it will be these players who often score for their team.

Of the six best individual awards, spectators could easily sort out or even know for sure the winner of the highest goal scorer. The second-leg of the national league football has resumed and Bikarna Shrestha of Tribhuvan Army Club leads the highest scorers list with 18 goals. Anil Gurung of Manang Marsyangdi Club is second with 14 goals.

Raju Rai of Boys Union and Nilendra Dewan of NIB Friends Club have so far scored 10 goals each while Santosh Sahukhala of Armed Police Force has nine goals to his credit.

Likewise, Rishi Rai of RCT has scored eight goals followed by Sunil Subedi of Gyanendra APF with seven goals. Hari Khadka and Jumanu Rai of Mahendra Police Club, and Chun Bahadur Thapa of the Army club have six goals to their credits.
