SIMARA: The first general meeting of Bara Coordination Committee of Nepal Sports Journalists Forum on Saturday unanimously elected a 13-member executive committee under the leadership of Sunil Gaunle.

Krishna Sigdel was elected as vice-president, while Basanta Khatiwada was elected secretary and Shyam Gupta as joint secretary. Pushpa Raj Khatiwada was elected as treasurer. Likewise, Ranjan Yadav, Manoj Kumar Sah, Pradip Gautam, Sharada Pokhrel, Sajir Mansur, Mira Rai, Nima Lama and Avinash Acharya were elected as members.

The executive committee nominated Guru Prasad Gautam, Kamal Kumar Upadhyay, Resham Tiwari, Prakash Lamsal, Laxmi Sah, Basanta Sharma, Gokul Ghorasaini and Diwakar Bhandari as the advisors. NSJF Bara also announced the Sports Journalism Award of Rs 25,000. — HNS
