KATHMANDU: The valley coordination committee of Naya Shakti Nepal (Ghanashyam) on Thursday felicitated the 12th South Asian Games gold medallist wushu player Nima Gharti Magar. Co-chairman of Naya Shakti Nepal Kamal Raj Shrestha handed over felicitation letter and Rs 25,000 to Gharti Magar, who won Nepal’s first of the three gold medals in India. Naya Shakti Nepal also feted 10 silver medallists Sabita Rai, Bijay Sinjali, Bishwo Budha Magar, Sushmita Tamang, Yuvaraj Thapa Magar, Hari Prasad Gole, Jharna Gurung, Bindu Pun, Juni Rai and Rajesh Chaudhary and bronze medal winner Saroj Pun with letters of appreciations. Likewise, wushu coaches Rajeev Maharjan, Gopal Shrestha and Shankar Thapa Lekali were also feted on the occasion.
