KATHMANDU: Golden Gate International College and Himalayan Hounds won their matches of the Kwik’s Basketball League here on Thursday.

Golden Gate defeated Xavier International College 71-56 riding on 33 points from Rajiv Joshi, who also had one assist and four rebounds. Bipendra Maharjan contributed 20 points along with five assists and three three-pointers.

Nikesh Magar scored 29 points for Xavier International, while Anish Magar netted 14.

In another match, Himalayan Hounds beat Bishal Milan Kendra 68-57. Saurav Shrestha scored 28 points and BijayBurja netted 18 for Himalayan, while Sandesh Tamang contributed 18 for Bishal.
