KATHMANDU: Both teams of Greenland advanced to the quarter-finals of the 10th Kwiks Cheese Ball Greenland Basketball Tournament here on Tuesday.

Greenland ‘A’ thrashed Abhiyan Public 58-22 riding on 15 points each from Rupesh Khadka and Bikram Gurung, while Ajit Shahi and Anmol Acharya netted 13 points apiece to help hosts B team rout Loyalty 50-27.

In other matches, Valley Public beat Glenwood 33-22, Golden Peak overpowered KMC 55-35, AIA edged past Triyog 55-53, Sky Lark routed New Summit 64-36, HHCA thumped Tri-Jyoti 67-37 and TIA registered a 30-29 victory over Policity School to make it to the last eight.
